Gold Coin Winners At 2014 PNG-ANA Numismatic Trade Show

(Rosemont, Illinois) — Three collectors won one-ounce U.S. American Eagle gold bullion coins valued at more than $1,300 each at the first PNG-ANA Numismatic Trade Show. Plans are being made now for next year’s show to again be held on the eve of the World’s Fair of MoneySM.

A gold coin prize was awarded each day of the recent three-day PNG-ANA Numismatic Trade Show that was jointly conducted by the Professional Numismatists Guild (PNGdealers.org) and the American Numismatic Association (money.org) in Rosemont, Illinois, August 2 – 4, 2014.

The winners were Dennis Nabrinsky of Northbrook, Illinois; Jeff Brueggeman of Chattanooga, Tennessee; and Glen Marhefka of Parma, Ohio.

“It was a humorous coincidence when we pulled Jeff Brueggeman’s prize entry and the winner has the same last name as mine,” said Robert Brueggeman, PNG Executive Director. “He and I chatted to see if we had any relatives in common, but we’re not related. Still, it was a funny coincidence.”

The next PNG-ANA Numismatic Trade Show will be held August 8 – 10, 2015 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois prior to the 2015 ANA Chicago World’s Fair of Money convention.
