Dallas Rare Coin and Paper Money Show
(Dallas, Texas) — How much are your old coins and currency worth? Fifty of the country’s top numismatic experts will be in Dallas, February 26 – 28, 2015, to buy, sell and offer appraisals of rare coins and vintage paper money at the Dallas Rare Coin & Paper Money Show sponsored by the nonprofit Professional Numismatists Guild (PNGdealers.org).
“The show will be open to the public at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Grapevine,” said PNG Executive Director Robert Brueggeman.
The PNG estimates the United States rare coin market was $5 billion in 2014. Members of the organization must adhere to a strict code of ethics in the buying and selling of numismatic merchandise.
“The Dallas show will be an opportunity for the public to learn the value of coins or currency they may have inherited. They can find out what it is and what it is worth. And collectors in the Southwest can meet and do business with many PNG member-dealers from around the country who usually do not attend the local Dallas area coin shows,” added PNG President Terry Hanlon, President of Dillon Gage Precious Metals in Addison, Texas.
Dallas-based Heritage Auctions will conduct an auction of U.S. rare coins in conjunction with the show.
Admission is $10 for a three-day pass, however, free admission coupons are available online at pngdealers.org/images/COUPON.dls.pdf.
Public hours will be Thursday, February 26, from 10 am to 6 pm; Friday, February 27, from 9 am to 6 pm; and Saturday, February 28, from 9 am to 5 pm. The three-day show will be in Hall C of the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center that is located at 1501 Gaylord Trail in Grapevine.
